2. Service Description
DocuPortal is a cloud-based platform designed for document collection, client collaboration and workflow management for accounting firms and professional service teams.
Features may include:
- Document requests
- Client portals
- Workflow collaboration
- Notifications
- Audit logs
- User and permission management
- Multi-factor authentication
3. Accounts
Access to the platform is currently provided manually by DocuPortal.
Customers are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials
- Managing user permissions within their organization
- Providing accurate account information
You are responsible for all activity performed under your account.
4. Subscription & Billing
Access to platform features requires an active paid subscription.
Without an active subscription, access is limited exclusively to login and subscription management. No other platform features are available.
Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Pricing, limits and included features may vary depending on the selected plan.
We reserve the right to modify pricing or plan limits with reasonable notice. Failure to pay subscription fees may result in suspension or termination of access.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for illegal purposes
- Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Upload malicious software or harmful content
- Interfere with platform availability or security
- Abuse storage or system resources
We reserve the right to suspend accounts violating these rules.
6. Data & Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect customer data, including encrypted communication, authentication controls, tenant isolation, audit logging and secure cloud infrastructure.
However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Availability
We aim to provide reliable platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, updates or third-party outages may occasionally affect availability.
8. Intellectual Property
The DocuPortal platform, branding, software and related materials remain the intellectual property of the operator. Customers retain ownership of their uploaded content and documents.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocuPortal shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access in cases of:
- Non-payment
- Violation of these Terms
- Abuse of the platform
- Security-related concerns
Customers may cancel subscriptions according to the billing terms provided during onboarding or billing.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page along with the date of the last update.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
